Mint Cars was working on the weekend last Saturday at Brooklyn Flea. For anyone that ventured out to this amazing Fort Greene based Flea Market you may have seen a red Mint Smart Car parked next to the food section. Mint was there handing candy in true Halloween spirit and educating the masses on the benefits of car sharing and Mint Cars on Demand.
The great city of New York has shown that it's down with Mint Cars On Demand. Last week the Department of City Planning opened up space for Car Sharing vehicles, branching out from privately owned lots to include public garages and attached parking lots to public facilities like schools and libraries, many of which have large lots that remain half filled. This would provide the city with extra income and Mint Cars on Demand with more locations to better meet our customers needs.
Mint recently contributed to New York Needs You's latest charitable event to further the cause of this great program. Mint provided redeemable vouchers for membership to our car-share for all those who attended the program.
